Live Music Sundays at Broderick - Jeffrey Dallet
Join us at Broderick for our new weekly Live Music Night.
New local artists every Sunday 4:30-6:30pm.
About the Artist
When people think of singer songwriters, one might think of some self indulgent, dour, moody fellow or woman sitting on a stool in a coffee shop moaning out the woes of love lost and the state of the world being on the way to hell. Well, Jeffrey Dallet is pretty much the opposite of that. Not that he does moan out the woes of lost love or the ills of society, but there's a different energy when it comes to Dallet and his music.
Combining lyrical folk and high energy rock, Dallet formulates his style known as folk n’ roll. Yes, there are the staple protest songs and the pained lover laments, but it's in a style using classic sounds with a modern era high energy, that gives the listener a fresh twist on the singer songwriter genre.
If you have a chance to catch a live Dallet Band or Dallet solo show, you'll be entertained, informed and whisked away on an electric journey through his music catalog, and countless tales from his myriad odd jobs and experiences along the road. You might even hear some classic favorites.

Art Show Opening Night - Artist Norm Shearer “Trails Forged New”
Join us for Norm’s debut solo exhibition. Featuring vibrant and bold oil and watercolor landscapes, the collection offers a unique look at the world through his perspective on the trail—capturing both the literal beauty and the metaphorical spirit of his new journey as a professional artist.
About the artist:
I have always loved to draw, paint, and daydream — I like breaking conventions and losing myself in looking at the world in weird, new and colorful ways. I started drawing and painting as soon as I could hold a brush. I’m pretty sure I even ate the paint. I minored in Fine Art at CU Boulder and received my Bachelor’s in Advertising and Design. I then attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena to deepen my art and design skills. After graduation, I worked as an art director both full-time and freelance at top agencies and design studios. A decade later, I was offered a chance to join Cactus as a partner, where I helped alongside a vastly talented team to grow the business and the accolades of our work to incredible heights. Over two decades later, with Cactus in a position of strength and momentum, I made the hard yet adventurous decision to leave advertising and get back to my roots of making fine art as my professional focus. Today I enjoy an eclectic range of art and creativity. From expressionist painting to experimental multimedia and film, to printmaking and sculpture. I enjoy breaking conventions in subtle or not-so-subtle ways. Teaching creative and design as an adjunct and mentoring Jr. creatives in their careers has also been a passion of mine over my career. I also teach design, branding, and creative problem-solving in the graduate and undergraduate programs at CU Boulder. I also enjoy hiking and being outdoors to find inspiration, but also seeing the fun, weird, and wonderful uniqueness in daily life.

Live Music Sundays at Broderick - Emily Barnes
Join us at Broderick for our new weekly Live Music Night.
New local artists every Sunday 4:30-6:30pm.
About the Artist
Emily Barnes is a contemporary folk singer/songwriter whose music breathes life into the characters and stories of everyday people. With a voice that cuts to the bone and lyrics that linger long after the last note, she crafts songs that feel both intimately personal and universally human.
Born and raised in Johnsonburg, New Jersey (a town so small it doesn’t appear on most maps) Barnes began writing songs on the stone steps of her 200 year old house. From those quiet beginnings, she’s built a grassroots following the old fashioned way: one room, one story, and one listener at a time.
Armed with her acoustic guitar and a raw, haunting voice, Barnes has performed in cities and small towns across the county, captivating audiences and building a grassroots following. Her latest album, Mint Condition, took her on a sold out tour throughout the Northeast and marked her most accomplished work to date.
A recognized talent in the songwriting community, Emily has been a finalist in several major festivals, including the Kerrville Folk Festival, Red Lodge Songwriters Festival, Blast on the Bay, and The Acorn Songwriting Contest.
With four albums under her belt and a growing reputation as a storyteller of uncommon depth, Emily Barnes continues to carve out a space that is wholly her own in the modern folk landscape.
